Might provide a demo of a standard vehicle through a dealer

The best place to compare vehicles is in your own work environment. We make that easy by providing the vehicle, configured to your specifications, and letting you use it for a week. If the other manufacturer will do the same, you can compare them side by side.

Delivery Time/Configured to Order

As little as 48 hours. Up to 3 weeks on larger orders.

Standard products are often available at the dealer’s, but special configurations are another matter.

Responsiveness is a basic part of our customer service. We can get you your vehicle quickly. The same is true for parts.

How we compare the Pack Mule to the competition.

We go to great lengths to make sure that our comparisons between Pack Mule vehicles and others are as fair and accurate as possible. It doesn’t serve anyone’s interests for those depending on the comparisons to be disappointed. Basically, here’s how we do them:

  1. We purchase competitor vehicles from time to time through authorized channels, usually a dealer, specifying standard equipment and asking for quotes on appropriate upgrades.
  2. The competitor vehicle is tested alongside the Pack Mule.
  3. Wherever possible, we use the specifications on the machine we purchased. When we need additional specs, we use the ones published on the competitor’s web site, in the quote we received from their authorized dealer or published in their user manuals.
  4. We frequently check to see if anything has changed. If it has, we immediately change the comparison, as we do when the competitor provides us documentation of a change.
  5. We offer to back our comparisons up with on-site demos. If you’re currently using another manufacturer’s electric industrial vehicle, we’ll provide a Pack Mule for you to do your own comparison.

We take seriously our responsibility to publish information that is as accurate and timely as possible.

On August 17, 2017, Motrec issued a press release containing the following statements:

Vehicle comparisons are standard business practice in our industry

That’s because at first glance, certain features may appear to be equal. When you take a closer look at the complete list of technical specifications side by side, however, the differences become much clearer. We’re talking about battery life & charging times, ergonomics & safety features, braking & towing capabilities, motor life & maintenance… And much, much more.

It’s also an unstated rule among industrial electric vehicle manufacturers to present these comparisons as accurately and honestly as possible. Doing otherwise only wastes people’s time – which is no way to build a reputation in our industry.

Pack Mule’s questionable practices

Unfortunately, not all of our competitors embrace this philosophy and sometimes resort to using outdated or inaccurate specifications to put their own vehicles in a more positive light. For some time now, Pack Mule has been posting misleading comparisons on its website. Regrettably, in the case of the Motrec MS-260, it has been passing off outdated information as our current specifications.

We have informed Pack Mule of this inaccuracy but would like to set the record straight here as well. Below is the correct comparison between the Motrec MS-260(48v) and the Pack Mule SC-775 NXG (48v).

Our Response:

The charge of intentionally posting misleading comparisons is very serious and disturbing to us.

Contrary to this charge, Pack Mule is not aware of ever having been informed by Motrec of the changes to the specifications for their stock chaser. As of mid-July, our comparisons were accurate based on the specifications then on their website.   We did not learn of these accusations until advised of them by a third party on August 22, 2017.  On August 25, we modified our comparisons.

By email to the CEO of Motrec on August 28, we asked Motrec to advise us how and when they told us of these changes.  We have not yet received a response.
