1,000 lbs.*

With Pack Mule, cargo capacity means just that. It can carry 1,200 lbs. of cargo. Columbia’s is “load capacity” and includes the weight of the “personnel, cargo, options, and accessories.” This will reduce the cargo capacity substantially.

3,000-6,000 lbs.

Columbia’s towing package is advertised at 6,000 lbs., but maximum towing is only available at minimum speed. If you have a heavy tow load of 5,000 lbs., the Pack Mule SCT-7750 can move it at more than twice the speed.

How we compare the Pack Mule to the competition.

We go to great lengths to make sure that our comparisons between Pack Mule vehicles and others are as fair and accurate as possible. It doesn’t serve anyone’s interests for those depending on the comparisons to be disappointed. Basically, here’s how we do them:

  1. We purchase competitor vehicles from time to time through authorized channels, usually a dealer, specifying standard equipment and asking for quotes on appropriate upgrades.
  2. The competitor vehicle is tested alongside the Pack Mule.
  3. Wherever possible, we use the specifications on the machine we purchased. When we need additional specs, we use the ones published on the competitor’s web site, in the quote we received from their authorized dealer or published in their user manuals.
  4. We frequently check to see if anything has changed. If it has, we immediately change the comparison, as we do when the competitor provides us documentation of a change.
  5. We offer to back our comparisons up with on-site demos. If you’re currently using another manufacturer’s electric industrial vehicle, we’ll provide a Pack Mule for you to do your own comparison.
