Pack Mule Order Picking Carts are designed and made for moving materials and personnel in serious, industrial applications. Pack Mule makes two types of Order Picking Carts:
ELECTRIC ORDER PICKING CARTS
Pack Mule Electric Order Picking Carts, such as Stock Chaser Carts and Burden Carrier Carts, are ideal for picking products to fill orders and delivering the picked products to the shipping area used in distribution centers and for picking components to be used in fabrication and assembly in manufacturing plants. Pack Mule Order Picking Carts can be configured to tow up to 6,000 lbs. and to extend run-time to serve full shifts.
TOWABLE ORDER PICKING CARTS
Pack Mule Towable Order Picking Carts greatly increase productivity in order pickinig applications, particularly in today’s large facilities where the distance between the order picking area and the shipping area is substantial. Pack Mule offers a wide variety of towable carts, all of which are derived from one of two superior steering technologies.

We configure every Pack Mule Order Picking Cart to fit the customer’s specific application. Our flagship SC Series Stock Chaser Order Picking Carts can be configured in over 6,000 different ways, for example.
Our process begins with asking questions that will help us gather the information needed to understand each customer’s application and environment so we can properly configure and quote the appropriate order picking cart. For example:
- What is the size of the facility in which the order picking cart will be operating?
- Are there any limitations on aisle space or turning space within the facility?
- How many shifts will the order picking cart be required to operate?
- Will the order picking cart need to tow or be towed in order to be most productive?
- Are there any defined safety guidelines applicable to the environment in which the order picking cart will be operating (e.g., speed limits, special safety features, etc.)?
- For electric order picking carts, how much run time per day will be required?
- What style of order picking cart is preferred?
Once we have gathered information, we make recommendations as to the most suitable order picking cart for consideration, issue a quote within two hours on the recommended order picking carts, and typically offer to demo the recommended order picking cart model (configured to the customer’s specifications).
